The Zodiac is a serial killer who operated in the California, Liberty and Pennsylvania systems between 808 A.S. and 810 A.S. and recently in 819 A.S. His identity has remained unknown. The Zodiac is confirmed to have killed victims on Planet Los Angeles, California Minor, Planet Manhattan]] and Planet Erie. The victims were between the ages of 18 and 45 respectfully. The name Zodiac was addressed in a series of taunting letters sent to the LPI and LSF. These letters included four cryptograms (or ciphers). Of the four cryptograms sent, only one has been definitively solved.
Multiple suspects have been named by law enforcement and amateur investigators, but no conclusive evidence has surfaced. In April 815, the Liberty Security Force had turned the case "Inactive". The case however was reopened in January of 819 A.S. when another letter claiming to be from Zodiac him or herself stating about another murder and that LSF hadn't forgotten about "them".
808-810 A.S.
It was said that during these two years that Zodiac killed an estimated 39 people. Of those 39 only 10 we confirmed to be his doing. Many claim that he works for one of the unlawful groups within Liberty but it was later denied by the Zodiac that they weren't working with any of the low life groups. DUring this period the LSF/LPI would receive messages from the Zodiac every 4-5 weeks with the currently score or information about the latest crime that was committed.
Present
After the last message was received LSF/LPI worked night and day searching for this serial killer would had eluded them for nearly 2 years and yet thought it was funny to play mind games with Liberty's best. But suddenly the messages stopped. The Zodiac didn't contact LSF for nearly 9 years. Many thought "they" had been killed, captured or imprisoned.
