Currently nothing more than a hangar, a mooring point, a small storage space and a few living quarters carved inside an asteroid, the Handayan Outpost in Magellan is the newest addition to the Gaians' bases. Built in secrecy by a minor Gaian cell, the base's initial purpose was to be a secluded refuge as well as a staging ground for raids on Planet California Minor operations.

Much to the cell's leaders' dismay, however. the costs of constructing the base skyrocketed as more and more precious cargo ships fell victim to various hostile parties in the area. The resource drain was sufficient to swiftly starve out the unprepared Gaian cell, resulting in a quick dissolution.

Despite this, the base's original owners were unwilling to let their hard work go waste, and revealed its existance to the rest of the movement. Although skeptical at first, a number of other cells decided to take the risk and finish the outpost, hoping that this gamble will pay off in the future.

Nowadays, the Handayan Outpost operates with a team of construction workers stationed there in addition to the regular skeleton crew. With increased resource flow and security, the process of carving out the asteroid accelerated greatly and the outpost is scheduled to become a fully functional base by the end of the next year.
