Magur is a gas planet, or, a dwarf planet with a thick atmosphere that is a remnant of a once much larger planet. In the relatively young planetary system of Omicron Zeta, the planet fell victim to a large-scale planetesimal impact some 200-300 millions years ago. The impact destroyed a large part of the planet, leaving only the core intact. Over time, gases and dust from the surrounding fields of planetary remains formed a thick atmosphere around Magur's silicate core. | Magur is a gas planet, or, a dwarf planet with a thick atmosphere that is a remnant of a once much larger planet.
