Constructed in 720 AGS at the Rambouillet Shipyards, the Battlecruiser Sisteron served under Royal Intelligence command and was employed in specific intelligence gathering and surveillance operations both in the Taus and the Core worlds against Gallic insurgents and Outcasts scouting parties. It was relocated to Provence just as the Council made its move against the local garrison. It arrived too late to impact the battle, but maintained its position in the area to monitor the emergence of the Minarchy.
Like many other Royal Intelligence assets, the Sisteron and her crew rallied to the Enclave when the Monarchy went into exile. It has relocated to the abandoned Fréjus station, where it now continues its mission to monitor the Minarchy through signals intelligence operations. Sisteron's motto is "Par les montagnes et les fleuves" (through mountains and rivers), a grim reminder of the Enclave's obstination.
