Not much known about this large asteroid base. It appears to be hewn into a massive asteroid floating above the Austeria Nube, which appears to be slowly drawn into the Razgriz Abyss-a process that is likely to take several thousands of years yet, several drydocks flank the massive asteroid, with warships of various sizes is various stages of construction in them. While many Outcasts come and go at the base, mostly rotating between shipbuilding and returning to the Orange dream on Malta can tell how this base come to be. There are whispers that the deeper layers of the base were not built by human hands.

True or not, there is a sizeable science team on Corsica, studing a variety of topics, ranging from weapon designs to new power systems. The science teams recently discovered a way to use the immense gravity of the Razgriz Abyss to stabilise a miniature singularity. While stabilised, the singularity can convert matter into energy, essentially functioning as a very powerful generator. This experimental power plant has been implemented in some of the newer Destroyers being built at Corsica, to see how it performs. Corsica is the only place where a dead singularity core can be reactivated, as it requires the massive gravity well of the black hole to do so.
