*'''Blackjack''': This game is fairly simple. The gamblers place cash to the casino via /givecash command. After that, players roll the dice, one at the time. The goal is to roll the dice until your sum of numbers is closest to 12, or 12, but you cannot go over the number 12. (Something like blackjack with cards, but we have lowered the dice total to 12, instead of 21. Casino rolls last. All players that have won against the Casino get the double cash they have gave in before the game started.
 +
*'''Lucky number 6''': This game is the fastest moving game between Casino and gamblers using the /dice command. Basically, the Casino gives a chance to all the gamblers to double their money with a simple game. Players place cash to casino via /givecash command, and after that Casino rolls the dice 4 times. If in either of those 4 times, dice gives out number 6, players get back double they have invested. Simple and fast pacing game. Most popular game for the Casino Geisha boats.
 +
*'''Over 12''': No, we're not talking about age here! The game offers more fun when played solo against the Casino boat. Basically, player transfers his cash to the Geisha boat via /givecash command, and picks a number between 14 and 18. Then he proceeds to roll the dice. He stops rolling his dice after total score of his dices exceeds 12. If the total score after that is the number he picked, he doubles his money. If the total score of dice after they've passed 12, is actually number 13, player loses his money. If the number is neither the gambler's picked number, or number 13, game continues until someone wins.
 +
*'''Group playing "over 12"''': If over 12 is played by a group of people, they all pick a number between 14 and 18, but Casino is the one that rolls the dice. As someone wins, he gets paid and game continues on for other players. The player that has won the game can join again by transferring more money to Casino boat.

*'''Odds''': Basically what is trying to be organized here is 1 on 1 fights, friendly fights. Call them simulations if you will. Majority of players will get their odds on spot, that is up to the casino to do. I'll try to give an example. It's ladies night and feeling's right, right? Allright. Geisha is parked near Gamma this time and OPG has just raided and plundered, they're returning to Tripoli with those engine components. Gambling and gladiator fights are under way near Crete, and odds for the indies are 1:1. In comes OPG and he wants to fight, other OPG's want to gamble on that fight. Since it is known that OPG has good pilots, and we're unsure about the indy, the Casino gives a chance for those that bet on the indy to earn more money, while those that bet on "sure shot", the OPG, get less money. (example: million invested on OPG gives you 1,500,000 back, and 1,000,000 invested on indie, gives you 2,000,000 back. )

Well, first of all the ability to fly that transport like a pro. Being financially savvy and flying the brick like a true space smuggler, evading the police and rival pirates is something you'll either learn to do, or you'll have a bad time in OTC.
 +
Roleplay is another important part of OTC smugglers. Noone forces you to actually stop for a drink in every system, or chat it up with everyone and their dog, but when you are spoken to, there should be no silent treatments, no Alaska trespassing, no F1 abuses and certainly no docking on bases that should be hostile to you, just to avoid the trouble ahead.
 +
There will be mandatory deposits monthly, or weekly, based on your availability to play, those will be used to further the power of OTC. Making bounties, lawful and unlawful, hiring escorts to get rid of those pesky pirate rivals and to get rid of entire competition. That requires money and money will come from all or it won't come at all. OTC offers protection in most of their trade routes so by flying under our banner you have already reduced the chances of losing your cargo greatly. If things weren't clear so far, this is a serious smuggling corporation that will either swim or sink, and '''you''' are the only one who is deciding of it's fate.

Those that want to advance in OTC will find that it requires bit of dedication and that extra mile of roleplay. Displaying an ability to roleplay the Casino Geisha Liners, developing the new trade routes for our smugglers to use and keeping tabs on other smuggling factions is definitely a way to advance up in rank. This is an unofficial player group. For the affiliated NPC faction, see Corsairs.

What is OTC?

Omega Trade Corporation started young, back in the days when Gentle was still a sane pirate king of the OPG. Organized by one of his five wives, the initial plan was to run a smuggling/brothel ring to bring additional income to OPG, in exchange for protection in Corsair waters. Alot has changed since then, and Gentle went insane, shooting his wife in the process, but to be sure we don't know did she drive him insane, or was it the Phantoms. Since his mother was dead, Sparta took over the Omega Trade Corporation, still a small group of Smugglers, and one Kusari Pleasure Liner. Determined to lead OTC into one of Corsair and Hogoshan smuggling magnates he took some serious steps towards that direction. Organizing routes with smugglers from OPG, he got well connected with the Artifacts trade but he didn't stop there either. Gathering all the independent Corsair and Hogoshan smugglers, money criminals and Dons he launched a Sirius wide smuggling organization that will stop at nothing.

OTC goal

There are more goals than it meets the eye. Rumors are that OTC has the desire to take a seat in the Council of Elders of Crete. Others say that their goal isn't even in Corsair space, it's in Hogoshan and they want to rule entire Kusari with Black Dragons, their Hogoshan allies. Others just say that this smuggling ring is something to cover the eyes of Corsair and Hogoshan allies while a much dire plot is going on beneath it. If you ask an OTC member, all rumors are correct. Or they are all just petty lies. Noone knows and things are looking like staying the same. Since Sparta has taken the position of leader OTC has begun to take more focus on smuggling, but the pleasure liner that was run by his mother is far from forgotten. Serving as the biggest Casino in the borderworlds, the ship hosts over 500 Corsair Don's and Hogohshan mafia members daily. Coming there to relax, cruise and enjoy revitalizing.. young.. females, the VIP's don't mind spilling secret or two about the next plot, or the market prices change, thus furthering the OTC's connection to the underground. While the goal is unclear to the bystanders, it seems Sparta knows exactly where's he leading this smuggler family.

OTC Pleasure "geisha" boats

To alot of them, a symbol of everything corrupted and wrong in our space. To the rest, the only beacon in the dead space to warm up their nights - the Geisha boats. Offering the pleasure of luxury, women and gambling, the ships are always full and well protected in the space. Generating profit for their leaders the ships are under constant surveillance and protection, but rarely do tensions spark. On their regular "day", Geisha hosts up to 1000 rich moguls, dons and other members of the underground societies both of Kusari and Corsair space. Occasional slaver ships have been seen to moor next to Geishas, for one obvious reason, restocking the entrenchment crew, but even authorities tend to turn a blind eye to that sort of illegal activities and the younger more eagers members of the law that dare to attempt something usually get slapped by their well greased up corrupted bosses. OTC knows that they're walking the fine line, and thats why there is never any trouble around the boat. Too much unwanted attention might make some people nervous, but so far noone raised voice loud enough to breach the veil of corruption.

Ship Types

Just to note something here, before we start actually counting down the ships. Just because you can fly them, doesn't mean you'll have much success with them. Noone can guarantee you safe passage trough the space all the time, and when the tough gets tough, smaller, more agile transports will have more chance of outevading opponents instead of paying them up / being blown up. • Escorts:
    • //OTC has no official escorts. We feel its better to hire the escorts to participate more roleplay interactions with others.

Hierarchy

Hierarchy in OTC is secretive and identity of the leader or any of the high ranking members is kept in high secret. Regardless of OTC desire to keep things secret and behind the curtains, some things weren't hidden and some things leaked out. Structure of the OTC is, by a common rumor already an triangle of co-leaders, with Sparta as their organizer and leader. The triangle is supposedly consisted of Hogoshan Lord, Corsair Don and the third Corsair Don, operating the line of brothels, pleasure liners and casinos.

The rest of hierarchy OTC divides in circles of trust, and members get trough various trials to advance to upper circles once they earn the trust.

  • First Circle (the most trusted members)
    • information removed due security threat
  • Second Circle (the made men, smugglers that have proven their worth and only sky is the limit for them)
    • information removed due security threat
  • Third Circle (Fresh recruited or extorted traders, bullied or joined willingly.)
    • Kept in secrecy until further notice.

Recruitment Details

Recruitment in OTC is very tricky. Since OTC is underground activity, the members usually operate under series of Alter Egos, and want to keep it that way. Recruitment is based on the principle "don't call us, we'll call you"

What is expected from the members?

Well, first of all the ability to fly that transport like a pro. Being financially savvy and flying the brick like a true space smuggler, evading the police and rival pirates is something you'll either learn to do, or you'll have a bad time in OTC. If things weren't clear so far, this is a serious smuggling corporation that will either swim or sink, and you are the only one who is deciding of it's fate.

Advancement

Those that want to advance in OTC will find that it requires bit of dedication and that extra mile of roleplay. Chances are that most of you will join the game and be content by your position as a safe smuggler in one of most badass factions out there, but some will still want more. Displaying an ability to roleplay the Casino Geisha Liners, developing the new trade routes for our smugglers to use and keeping tabs on other smuggling factions is definitely a way to advance up in rank. Higher circle of trust means more say in OTC matters, and better opportunities for an great rp.

What is expected from Leaders from members?

It is expected that leaders are there to monitor and guide the young members and lead the smuggling convoys. Securing escorts for the smuggling ops, placing bounties on the competition and discovering new smuggling runs that benefit Corsairs and Hogosha. They are there to insure there's no oorp from OTC members, issue punishments to the OTC members that have failed, and discuss diplomacy with other factions in Sirius. Leading by fear and example is the way OTC is going with.
