Therefore I wanted to reduce the size, but you are right, gifs can only contain 256 different colors, so they are bad for gradients. From now on I will user .jpgs again.<br> | ||

Image Size
Hi mate. :) There's no maximum size for images (well there is a 50mg limit but any pictures that get bigger than 1 meg I'll be having a good long hard look at re-doing it. I prefer high quality pics to lower quality one.
I also prefer .jpgs, as gifs can look pixelly. I've left your changes for the filetype, but have removed the maximum file size part from the Style Guide Commodities page.

- Ok, i will follow your orders. When I started adding .gifs I was thinking about the filesize of high quality .jpg images. gifs have 1/5 of them. Therefore I wanted to reduce the size, but you are right, gifs can only contain 256 different colors, so they are bad for gradients. From now on I will user .jpgs again.
