Carrier Hades is a survivor of the Gallic invasion of Tau-44 in 818 A.S., where it helped defend the Republic's fleeing refugee transports. In the following years, the Zephyr has lurked throughout the Tau systems, evading the fleet of Gallia while also acting as the primary staging point for the Crayter Military in the region.
Upon hearing news that the Valor-class Battleship Oblique and the majority of its battlegroup had defected to the Council, Hades returned to Tau-44 in order to conduct a joint operation with them to retake and secure the system.
