Secluded in orbit of of the Planet Baltrum in Sigma-15, Wichter Station is a small but well-equipped outpost maintained by ALG Waste Disposal. Most strikingly, Wichter seems to possess amenities necessary to produce ships up to the size of freighters. This, coupled with its relative seclusion seems to suggest that the Rheinland-based company is making a move towards infringing upon the turf of the Core, whom ALG have regarded as enemies ever since the Core conducted an attack against Freeport 11. The aftermath the Core's aggression in the Omicrons saw ALG ships attacked while attempting to aid the ailing station, causing relations to break down. While the relationship between the Zoners of Omicron Delta and the Core has cooled off, neither ALG nor the Core had made a move to amend the broken relationship between the two
