For a good example of a full page using the proper formatting please see the Burgundy System article. Keep in mind that you dont have to complete an entire page once you start, but please attempt to fill out atleast the template when creating a new system page.
Page Titles
That are a number of systems that have the same name as their main planet. E.g. (Planet New Tokyo in the New Tokyo system.) To distinguish the planets and systems separately, please use "New Tokyo" as a title for the system and "Planet New Tokyo" for the planet. This will allow consistency for the systems that have no planets named the same as their system: e.g Omega-41, Sigma-13.
Please leave in the hyphen for Sigma, Tau, Omicron, Omega system titles.
In Text References to Systems
When referring to the system in page text please add a generic lowercase-letters "system" or using other forms of reference such as:
This will keep things clear when referencing to the Planet or to the system.
Template
A new template has been developed to start all system pages. Please see Template:System for all the details on it and it's usage.
Description
Some systems have either declared themselves or have been declared by others to be Independent Systems, often bordering one or more house territories. Magellan and Kepler are prime examples of this. Use the appropriate description for the basic system descriptions.

Headings
Here are some suggested headings for the system.
- Areas of Interest - Generally a description of all the Nebulae, asteroid field and debris fields in the system. Be sure to include mining information. May also include undockable structures, such as the nomad structure in Newcastle.
- Notable Events - Events of noteworthiness

Categories
The categories for this part should include at least the first one. Include any other relevant one. Please remember to add these categories to the base of the page.

Moons
In order to accomodate the existance -- and documentation of such existance -- of moons in Systems (such as Maine in New York), I suggest we change the section titled Planets to Planets and Moons. I think, at least, that would be more correct than simply grouping moons with planets, even if for practical purposes there is no difference between them. I am saying this here rather than changing this myself since I believe that this template is being worked on by some people, and I don't want to interfere. -- Eyvind (Talk) 01:08, 15 July 2009 (MDT)
