Description
Universal Shipping started to develop autonomous drone systems back in the early years of 700 A.S., trying to create a solution to the raising demand on transports, and reduce the risk of them being attacked and/or destroyed. Nowadays freelancers are often hired to secure shipments, but are more often expensive and not an optimal solution. Development of the drones with A.I. ceased for 20 years when they encountered several problems during research, stopping the program in 748 A.S. and resuming in 768 A.S.
The current drones are the product of nearly a century of development and are now being tested in the field. However, they are not driven by an A.I., the operating system of the drones is based on multiple modules, including reconnaissance, defence, transportation, human interaction and much more. These modules work together and enable the drones to do for what they were designed for.
Rumor has it that Universal Drones secretly supports the Xenos, but that rumor has never been proven.
