Orbiting planet Wiesbaden is Wolfsburg Shipyard - the main facility in charge of Red Hessian vessel design and construction. With the escalation of the Hessian-Corsair conflict in the middle of the 8th century, demands for heavier and larger ships began to pour in. The improvised dry dock at Vogtland was hard pressed with the ever-increasing need for more vessels, while being unable to construct more than one capital ship at a time. The Hessian high command's decision was unanimous: a dedicated shipyard facility was required in order to continue the expansion further into the Omega systems, and the Hessians chose Omega-54 as the perfect place for this new project. Since the completion of construction in 765 A.S., Wolfsburg has been responsible for the vast majority of Hessian capital ships fighting in the Omega border worlds, and it's engineering crews are constantly working on new designs as well as improvements on existing designs, to improve the fighting ability of Hessians all across their battle lines.
