Oita is a barren system void of anything but its sole planet Nobeoka and its moon Sakurajima. Oita itself is settled deep in the cradle of Kusari space which has made it a prime location in terms of security for Interspace Commerce to locate it's headquarters and central mainframe. It is believed that the system was firstly discovered and charted by Kusari pioneers as its planets have distinct Kusari names. Not much information is provided on the two natural satellites that make the Oita system unique, however it is believed that Kusari firms Samura or Kishiro would have moved in if any useful resources could be extracted from the system.
By late 818 A.S., the Renzu Corporation completed the construction of their new shipyard, fully financed by their owners, the Independent Neuralnet Department. This allowed them to greatly expand the range of ships they could develop, and increased their influence over the civilian ship market.
