Once operated by Solar Engineering, Abbeville Production Facility is a relatively modern production center built around the core of the Abbeville Mining Station. Solar purchased the station from Nery Space Construction during a time where Picardy was faced with an economical crisis. The prospect of cheap labor motivated Solar's decision to establish a number of labor-intensive industries near Planet Amiens.

Worker conditions on the station were rumored to be poor; those who spoke out against their conditions quickly found themselves on a shuttle back to Amiens, where dozens of others would eagerly take their place. As a part of the merger, this facility came under ownership of EFL Oil & Machinery, who pledged to look into the reports of poor conditions on behalf of the Crown. Presently, the station is heavily involved in the production of construction alloys and energy field equipment.
