DSCore: Triumph

The Gallant is a Confederate revision of the Triumph. With the hull-integrated cannon removed, the Gallant is used as a frontline support warship, commonly seen escorting larger warships or accompanied by more Gallants. An effective strategy used against Kusari in their invasion, was sending a pack of destroyers that would hold formation and focus fire Kusari warships that strayed too far. To minimalize casualties, the packs would disengage upon a successful neutralization before reinforcements could arrive. Anecdotal reports say the Gallant was the workhorse that quelled the invasion.
