A large station within Wilkes Ice Field, Aland was built in 810-817 A.S. by the Independent Miners Guild. Additionally, the building site attracted a number of refugees from Holman, South Shields and Hood who were seeking for jobs and safer places to stay. Now, Aland Shipyard has become home for over a thousand Independent Miners who came here from Bretonia and Omega Border Worlds.
