The BHG (BHG| and BHG|Core) was founded in AS 816.

Guildmaster George Graves(Athenian) of the S/D Agency met with Max Jones(Tic), Guildmaster of the Core. It was determined that the two agencies should merge their efforts and, by pooling their resources, increase the amount of funds available for both groups and at that same time, increase the skill level of their pilots.

The original meeting was held on Capetown, in Omega-56. At this meeting, it was determined that Graves would be given the rank of Exalted Guildmaster, and maintain a non-voting seat on a council of Guildmasters.

The Council would consist of two Guildmasters for Bretonia, Liberty, Rheinland, and the Outer Worlds, with one Guildmaster for Kusari.

Since that time, Mr. Graves has suffered from a serious medical condition. The Exalted Guildmaster of the BHG| and BHG|Core is now Maxmillian DeVirgo (Agmen of Eladesor).
