Transports are much larger ships not pilotable in the original Freelancer. They range in cargo size from 525 to 5000. Transports are much larger than their freighter counterpart, but also quite expensive, up to $110 million for the Advanced Train. The train series of transports are much more expensive than similar sized vessels, but they have an inherent resistance to cruise disruptors because of their engine configuration. Only the advanced and train disruptors can stop them, essentially making them immune to NPC attack. Player Characters outfitted with the special cruise disruptors will still be effective. Trains are not resistant to trade lane disruptions.
