Synopsis
Offenbach is a base placed between the Odenwald and Taunus asteroid fields. It is charged with the defense of the Dresden jump hole, and making sure no enemies get past the gun range of the outpost. It houses a steady garrison of defense fighters and a number of powerful defense cannons in order to decisively hold the area.
The outpost was commissioned in 764 A.S., shortly after the stabilisation of the Omega-54 jump hole and the subsequent survey of the system itself by the Red Hessians. Constructed with resources stolen or mined from Dresden and Omega-11, the base was built with strong defensive capabilities in mind, in order to safeguard the system entry point from possible hostile incursions.
