Pecos is a larger moon composed of rock and ice caught in a 37 year cycle of melting and thawing as it orbits Salina bringing it closer and further away from the sun. The IMG established a small mining colony during 812 A.S. after completing work on Barrier Gate. Pecos posses a breathable but dangerously thin atmosphere, elevations above 30 meters over the "sea level" require machine assisted breathing. Deep within the moon crust is frozen deposits of what IMG suspected to be natural frozen heavy water which is on track to become one of the strongest sources of Deuterium in Sirius.
