First steps

Mao Rinkamo, first and only son of Goro Rinkamo and Diana Rinkamo, was born on board of one of the Colonial sleeper ships. At the age of 15, his parents move to planet New Tokyo and he learns how to fly a ship. He decides to become a bounty hunter after showing talent in combat against local pirates. At 22 he moves to Liberty and starts with easy escort jobs. He meets Aina Masami and they start the adventure of their life.

Military career

Learning of the constant war between the Outcasts and the Colonial Remnants, Mao decides to enlist with the later. He is trained at the Colonial Military Flight Academy and graduates after a couple of years. He slecialised himself in bomber and fighter combat. He also cobtinues his studies military flight studies and after obe more year he gains the license to command gunships.

Unfortunatelly, CIS operatives discover that Mao's wife, Aina Masami is affiliated with the Golden Chrysanthemums, a terrorist organisation with roots in Kusari.

Mao's promising career comes to a halt and he doesn't advance past the rank of Lieutenant.

The death

Mao Rinkamo decided to move on and quit the military. He joined IMG as an escort pilot.

On 24th of June, 813, the IMG convoy that Mao was part of was attacked in the Honshu system by several wings of Golden Chrysanthemums fighters. Aina Masami was in charge of the opperation. Mao Rinkamo lost his life in incident.

Later, when the news got out, Aina Masami commited suicide.
