Kristina Kushchyenko is a freelance hacker of Russian descent. She is currently living in the New York system.

Early Life

Kristina was born on Planet Manhattan and abandoned at a Catholic orphanage by her extremely absent-minded father, Mr. Kushchyenko, when she was 5 years old. Eventually Kristina left the orphanage on her own before her father remembered that he had left her.

In 811 A.S. Kristina "Acid Burn" Kushchyenko was arrested and charged with crashing 1,507 computer systems in one day and causing a single-day 7-point drop in the New York Credit Exchange. Upon conviction, she was fined 50,000 credits and banned from owning or operating a computer of any kind until her 18th birthday.

Kristina is a skinny, diamond-colored teenage girl with bright blonde hair. Kristina wears a loose sleeveless white T-shirt, tight spandex leggings, and never wears footwear of any kind. Once she attempted to wear socks but she immediately lost her balance, suggesting she may have never even worn shoes. Her somewhat androgynous appearance often causes her to be mistaken for a boy.

Personality

Kristina has displayed many unusual character traits that are common of a teenager, and eccentric genius. She is a free spirit that sometimes shows emotion by growling or howling like a dog. Kristina rarely walks in a normal fashion; she instead prefers to run with her arms flailing, crawl on the ground, roll in somersaults, or walk on her hands. She is always talking about herself and will sometimes respond with nonsensical phrases. However, there is also plenty of evidence that at her core Kristina is a joyful adolescent with an affinity for human affection.
