Murilo Mining Facility was built by the Obsidian Zoetic in order to serve as both a space station and a docking ring with the Planet Murilo.

The facility is the first step to set-up a mining platform on the planet surface, that will ensure the vast amount of Water, and thus also Oxygen and Hydrogen can be supplied in order to ensure the success of their future colonisation plans for the system.

Blockade

Murilo Mining Facility is currently under siege by the BHG Core and all vessels within a 20k radius of the facility will be considered hostile by their vessels. This blockade has currently only cost the life of a single man, however, it has had a noticeable effect on the hauling of supplies to the Facility.

With the Obsidian's having access to Jump Drive technology they have so far been able to use this quite effectively to avoid any serious risk of the facility running out of vital supplies.

Due to the surface team on Murilo having all of their vital supplies brought down via this Facility it is imperative that the Murilo Mining Facility remains in orbit - its destruction would leave the surface team stranded without a reliable means of supplying their operation.
