Drake (system) System

When the Nomad Gate was activated in Omega-58, it collapsed in upon itself. It dragged everything that was in the system into Drake: planets, bases, ships, even the asteroid fields. Now it is home to the Wilde of Bretonia.

Asteroid Fields

Outer Asteroid Belt A large belt of asteroids attracted to the Nomad Gate from the outer reaches of the Omega-58 system. The gravitational and magnetic impact of the Gate is estimated to reach 0.5 light years from its location in every direction.

Intermediate Asteroid Belt The belt located between the inner and outer asteroid belts of Omega-58 is comprised of asteroids and planetary fragments dragged into the Nomad Gate anomaly. Asteroids from this belt are more dense than Outer Belt asteroids, but are also smaller.

Inner Asteroid Belt The inner belt is located next to the Nomad Gate and contains a large number of small asteroid particles. Most of those particles are remnants of larger asteroids and two planetoids caught and torn apart in the Gate's anomaly.
