The Epinal, an aging Richelieu class Battleship, is stationed near the Jump Gate from Champagne to Lorraine. The ship had been part of the fleet that was meant to suppress the Marne rebellion, but when the Council assaulted the fleet, it was forced to retreat. Heavily damaged, it managed to limp to the Lorraine system where it has remained ever since.
