Previously acting as vanguard to the Oblique battlegroup, the Aubagne was one of the first casualties in the battle between Council and Royalist forces in Provence. The damage sustained however was light in comparison to the many wrecks that now dot the space around Planet Marseille, allowing the Minarchy to quickly repair and deploy it to the Ile-de-France jump gate in order to secure their claim of the system.

Detecting the movement of the Battlecruiser Sisteron, the Aubagne moved to intercept but chose not to engage in a direct fight, though escorts from both of the battlecruisers fought in a number of skirmishes and bombers from the Aubagne harried the Sisteron as it departed the system.
