The Liberty Customs & Border Organisation (LCBO) also known as the Liberty Customs and Border Security Force wass a privately funded branch of the Liberty Security Force. It was disbanded after several high ranked members went rogue, and activity levels were drained.

History

The first predecessor of the LCBO the Texas Border Patrol was founded by Dan Renolds. There purpose was exactly as their name suggests. However to expand their area of operations, they changed into the Liberty Border Patrol rather quickly. But even then they could not enter for instance New York, so they eventually changed into the old Liberty Customs & Border Organisation or the Liberty Customs and Border Police Force. They worked like that for quite a while, but Chief Dan Renolds and Deputy Chief Mark Brown weren't happy with the equipment they could use and as such they decided to do a great re-organisation and changed to the LSF. Of course this also had a great impact on their purpose, but they still do police work too, however they try to do things bigger and also do many other things, such as guarding restricted areas, assisting the Liberty Navy. As of late they are having the ambition to build a large fleet, and they marked the start of it's creation with the launching of the Ohio, a siege cruiser and flagship of the LCBO.

After Assistant Director Tharog Frosthearth went rogue, moral dropped and other followed. Soon the activity was so drained that Director Dan Reynolds decided to disband the organisation.

Goals

The LCBO wants to create peace in Liberty. Where the Police and Navy often would be more than happy to just open fire on pirates, the LCBO rather has a little chat with them in the hope of understanding eachother and solving it peacefully.

The LCBO is both a paramilitary Strike Force and an intelligence organisation. The reason for this combination is to be able to do everything themselves. They can find the targets first and attack it afterwards, without needing the help of the LSF, Liberty Navy or LPI.

Master Orders

The LCBO is highly organised and has it's own Neural Net system. This contains among others the Master Orders (M.O.) these are all the basic orders and information a LCBO agent needs. There are the following M.O.:

M.O. 1.0: Mission Statement

M.O. 1.1: Uniform requirements

M.O. 1.2: Security Classifications

M.O. 1.3: CoC (Chain Of Command)

M.O. 1.4: Rank and Authority

M.O. 1.5: Punishment & Separation

M.O. 1.6: Award criteria

All LCBO agents follow the orders and rules written in the M.O. making the LCBO very organised and disciplined.

Ranks

The LCBO has a very rigid Ranking structure

Director

The absolute leader and founder of the LCBO. What he says goes, though he usually listens to the advise of others.

2nd Director

The other leader, practically the same as the Director however this isn't the founder and the Director still has authority over the 2nd Director is that is necessary.

Assistant Director

The Director and 2nd Director decide, but the Assistant Directors make it happen, they are the face of the LCBO. They execute the plans of the Directors. They also can make many decisions themselves and usually don't have to ask permission if they want to change something. Next to that they are also advisers of the Directors.

Commandant

This person always holds the Wing position of Fleet Commander meaning he controls the different Wings of the LCBO. He is to organise these and in large scale operations involving multiple Wings he can have the overall command.

Section Chief

Is usually a Wing commander and is the highest rank that doesn't involve the actual running of the Organisation, but only commanding in-space.

Division Chief

Is usually a Wing adjutant and is the first rank that has the authority to give commands in-space.

Special Agent

The Elite agents, these can't command other members yet, but are respected as capable agents and may give some orders in-space to recruits. If there isn't a higher rank available and it is required that someone takes command it will be him rather than a normal agent.

Agent

The first stage after being a recruit. These have proven to be good enough to be a true member of the LCBO.

Recruit Agent

Normally every new member first has to be a recruit, after they prove that they are worthy of becoming a real agent they will be promoted and become actual members of the LCBO.
