Origin
Very little is known about Saint-Just's youth, aside from the fact that he was born and grew up on Planet Lyon. According to him, his parents were both middle-class planetary workers. Around the age of 20, Saint-Just emerged as a small-time freelancer, and began taking documented contracts with smaller interstellar corporations and other business interests.
He developed a reputation as a capable information-gatherer, and began to be sought out by individuals and groups who had specific needs for such a skillset. His work evolved into full-blown corporate espionage work over the next few years, and his in-depth work within a number of industries seems to have given him a well-rounded background.
Eventually, after making a sizable sum working in the private sector, he decided to join the Gallic Royal Navy, specifically the Office of Naval Intelligence. He was immediately assigned to deep reconnaissance far behind the Bretonian frontline, gathering intel on Bretonian core systems and the bordering independent systems.
