Luc Saint-Just is one of the top agents for the Office of Naval Intelligence of the Gallic Royal Navy, and is currently in Sirius on an unknown assignment.
History
Origin
Very little is known about Saint-Just's youth, aside from the fact that he was born and grew up on Planet Lyon. According to him, his parents were both middle-class planetary workers. Around the age of 20, Saint-Just emerged as a small-time freelancer, and began taking documented contracts with smaller interstellar corporations and other business interests.
He developed a reputation as a capable information-gatherer, and began to be sought out by individuals and groups who had specific needs for such a skillset. His work evolved into full-blown corporate espionage work over the next few years, and his in-depth work within a number of industries seems to have given him a well-rounded background.
Eventually, after making a sizable sum working in the private sector, he decided to join the Gallic Royal Navy, specifically the Office of Naval Intelligence. He breezed through ONI training in record time, and found himself a full-fledged special agent within a year. He was immediately assigned to deep reconnaissance far behind the Bretonian frontline, gathering intel on Bretonian core systems and the bordering independent systems.
For several months on the tail end of 819 AS, he worked almost exclusively in Sirius, with a slavish dedication to his work and attention to detail that gained him notice from several of the GRN's Marechals. His few short breaks from his reconnaissance operations were punctuated with active participation on several important assaults on Bretonian systems.
Moving Forward
At the end of 819 AS he was given a long-term assignment from the High Command directly, superceding his position within ONI. Naval records give no details of his assignment, but he has not been seen in Gallia or on the front lines since.
