Avallon is a space fortress built by the Gallic Royal Navy in 659 A.S. It was a forerunner of Gallic Border Worlds exploration, providing stable basis for operations of Navy and Police in Burgundy and nearby systems. Avallon continues to play an important role in protecting the system both from the Council and from numerous unlawfuls that are plaguing the local trade routes, destroying corporate convoys and plundering the goods that remain intact.
