Taking full advantage of its remoteness and emptiness, the Exiled Party created a fallback headquarters for the hypothetical circumstance of Bruchsal becoming compromised.
Unfortunately for them, the Rheinlandic Government's discovery of the habitable Hammersee and announcement of its desire to colonize it quickly compromised the seclusion of the system. Substantially removed from Rheinland's typical borders, the system was designated Sigma-15 as news of its "discovery" was spread to the colonies.
