Calais is a top secret research facility. Details of its operation are classified. It was built in 516 A.G.S. and was renovated several times in order to improve existing equipment and attach new laboratories. Calais is located in a remote area of empty space that is not easily accessible. Various rumors circulate around the research facility, its inhabitants and their research. Some rumors say the facility houses some kind of alien lifeform. The most common assumption is that Calais handles top-secret weapons research, both nuclear and biological, which the Gallic Navy is reluctant to share details about.
