Flood is a Nomad caste that suffered a devastating genetic mutation.
History
While the majority of the Slomon K'Hara were lucky, a small minority soon later became the Flood. The Flood suffered an uncontrollable genetic mistake and are cursed with reduced efficiency on the Thermaloptic Complex, in short the mitochondria to humans. To which they lost 45% of their maximum energy output from regular breed of nomads resulting in a barely maximum energy efficiency of 45% while losing 55% of the energy unknowingly where to. This is very crucial as it restricts them to their nearby energy sources.. the Omicrons. Irregardless of their genetic mutation, the Mindshare still connects them to their objective and is attempting a solution to the genetic mutation defect. To phase out these genetic defects would be surprisingly difficult to which they were only able to recover maximum energy efficiency of only 68%...
