History
Jack Aubrey (Planet Cambridge,789 A.S - Unknown) is an ex military veteran.He served under the Bretonian Special Forces and the Bretonian Armed Forces in the task force commonly known as BSF-1 with the rank of Colonel,and head of that task force.He personally trained his men far above the common ability of most pilots in the Armed Forces.He distinguished in the Battle of the Upper Tau when he single handedly managed to destroy a enemy Destroyer,in his heavily modified "Challenger" bomber,before any kind of backup could arrive to assist him against the enemy fighters.The BSF-1 eventually managed to dintinguish themselves after the failed ambush on the Imperial Yacht.They're combat ability was well known among the Armed Forces and the Police Authority,they became myths,but some unknown event shreded the squad,maybe after the Phantom terroristic attack on Planet Cambridge,Jack disapperead.Someone make different theories about the the "actual" truth.But maybe we will never know.
Earlier Life
Jack Aubrey was the only son of a proeminent Armed Forces Commodore,Sir Winston Aubrey,and the daugther of an important noble family,Sophie Aubrey.Jack was raised on Planet Cambridge during his initial educational preparation at the local school of Wortingshire.He had a passion for History,Geography and Science,and a hatred for all kind of matematical exercises.In 808 A.S Aubrey enlisted for the Armed Forces,because of his personal will and someone says,because of his father.He was well known by the Drill Instructors there for his natural ability in combat using an old rusty "Crusader".Rather on he was trained in the use of hand to hand weapons,and fire weapons,including the one that defined his ability,the BAI-44LR sniper rifle,he was the best sharpshooter that the Academy had,he distinguished his ability with that rifle in a competition with the other Academies.
In the 809 A.S he officialy joined the Armed Forces of her Majesty,assigned on Battleship Norfolk in Cambridge.His first patrol on the Battleship Norfolk -> Omega 3 Jump Gate encountered a Molly party that was trying to pirate a lonely trader.The Mollies composed of two Very Heavy Fighters and one Bomber engaged the Armed Forces patrol without any kind of warning,they were surprised when they saw that the "Ensign" brought down two of them and in a matter of seconds finished the other pirate in the bomber.
Upon re-entry on Battleship Norfolk,silence falled when Aubrey walked in the mess hall,when Aubrey tried to sit on a table,all the pilots raised up and hailed "Hip Hip Hurray!" in his name.The Commodore and the Admiral gave Aubrey a weekend in order to contact his family and acknowledge them about his progress.
When he manage to get home at the Family Manor on Planet Cambridge he made aquaiantance with a "Special Forces Recruiter".That talked with Aubrey about the possible use of his skills for a greater cause then fighting pirates and smugglers,he accepted.
Special Forces Service
Little or none is known about the full service of Aubrey in the Special Forces.Jack Aubrey,The Colonel was a myth at Pembroke.Many persons thinked that the archive behind this person was cleaned of any vital informations about secret operations or his whereabouts before releasing his service biography.
After the Special Forces
The disapperance of Jack Aubrey is unknown to the Bretonian Authority,but some investigators managed to discover that he disappeared right after the terroristic attack on Cambridge,during the explosion of the MOX warhead above one of it's cities.
Theories about his dissappereance
The main theory involved about the end of his service in the Special Forces is suicide after the terroristic attack on Cambridge.Many think though that Jack turned for the Order to hunt down the responsables for the death of millions and millions of innocent people during that attack.But many think that some strange events occured during the disapperance of the Colonel and of the BSF-1 task force.
Similar persons were described by some civilians,the most interesting one was the pilot of a Bowex Container Transport,a possible disguise.We will maybe never know the fate of this fine pilot.
Personality Traits
Jack was well known for his gentle way to speak with his friends,and for his confident way to deal with any kind of situation.His fame led him in many confrontations with some Armed Forces pilots,but he always dealt with them accordingly and with respect.
