Independent Neuralnet Division built Renzu shipyards in 816 to house the growing operation of Renzu Corp. Finding itself freed from borrowing yard space within the stratified industrial culture of Kusari, Renzu was able to move into building bigger ships. The first project to be produced at the shipyards was the Shukensha Luxury Liner. The success of the Liner bodes well for the future operations at the shipyards.

The Renzu shipyards are some of the most technologically advanced in all of Sirius, with IND sparing no expense to give their subsidiary an edge in the Sirius wide civilian ship market. Housing the corporate management, production, and research and development facilities, as well as living and recreation facilities for the thousands of Renzu workers and IND managers, the base has become a desired destination, well away from the political and social upheaval in Kusari proper.
