The Xibanya Nuren (or "Spanish Lady" in the one of the native dialects of Kusari) was the first capital class vessel to be solely owned and Commanded By Corsair Elder Ben Laowai. However she had a long and chequered history before this. The hull of the ship and much of the parts that would later go on to form her engines were first purchased by Laowai's father Raul Dominguez and a loose consortium of her friends some time around 740 A.S.. They then, by their own hands and using their limited facilities in a hangar on Crete undertook the long and laborious process of constructing the ship themselves. This became their pet project but was abandoned when Raul Dominguez and several of his friends were killed in the famous "Huerta Raid" over Malta. The ship then languished in its barely finished state for several years until the project was picked up by Ben Laowai himself once he had accrued enough wealth to continue it. A painstaking labour of love, Laowai completed the vessel himself and registered it with the Corsair ship registry (unwillingly) several years later. She has seen considerable service since then, most notably in the Omicron Delta system and the Sigma 13 System. With the procurement of the Battleship Venganza The ship has often been commanded by one of Elder Laowai's Lietenants Commander Phillipe Alberto and has recently been on regular station near Battleship Fes in the Omega 47 system.
