They're good at what they are supposed to do, you people just need to start using a bomber for what its meant to be instead of trying to snac fighters

None of that is a "Balance breakdown" and most of it is subjective. Sounds to me like you want 400k dps on a ship that can effortlessly box 600m from a cruiser and becomes unhittable to most of the playerbase

It is subjective, just as dev's or yours point of view. For every specific task, there's a better ship class than a bomber. The bomber was useful only because it was somewhat universal, while not being particularly good at anything. I don't want anything for bombers anymore, I only remain in the ownership of one, and I doubt that I will log it.

Bombers are still by far the most effective tool to deal with cap swarms when you have less people than the enemy
