Everything karlotta posted in the op should become a reality. I broke this down in another one of rax’s monthly snac tantrum threads.
Just remove bomber guns and let them use normal guns like in 4.84
All in all they will just be even slower SHF's that are better against caps.

I am sure you wouldn't miss the opportunity if you could. Or if bombers were actually good at any given point in time so they deserved snac nerf.

Also this. I mean bomber guns were made (and made exactly this bad) to balance SNAC instakill ability. Now when there's none, bombers just may have the normal guns back.
I don't think bombers just getting flat copies of snub guns is 100% what should be done (remember bombers have way better cores than VHFs so any guns they use need to be scaled appropriately) but re balancing bomber weapons to be more capable in dealing with VHFs is a much healthier way of dealing with the supposed issue than reintroducing a weapon that only required the opponent to make a mistake once in a game with minutes long time-to-kills to win and effectively no respawns.
Just remove the spread on scatter guns (the spread is a pro not a con) and give em about 500 range while nerfing their efficiency down to 3.9 or something (its 4.75 for a gun with 5700 dps and is intended for use on ships with 30k+ powercores and 1.8k/s+ regen, why?)
