Covering Information
Ariel engineering is a semi-autonomous subordinate company of the larger Ariel Enterprises that specialises in the devlopment and manufacture of hovercycles. They're uniquely renowned for their alternative hovercycle models, particularly their signature [1] sternward seating designs. Ariel engineering is fairly new to the terrestrial vehichle market, but is frequently supported by it's parent Ariel Enterprises to push forward with any new developments. The small branch company tends to frequently assist in the development of Ariel Enterprises' products should they fall within their category of expertise. So therefore are also understood to be involved in the development of vessel modifications, upgrades and accessories.
Background Information
Ignition
Following the the flourishment of Ariel Enterprises during the beginning of the eighth century (A.S.) and the eventual release of Vlad Rothstein from Vierlande Prison in 808. The ex-professor sought to co-found this new business venture with his previous business partner Ernst Jaeger, who at the time was sitting on top of 67% of shares of his Enterprise. However Jaeger refused to join Rothstein on his venture but instead offered him financial support in launching his new project under the banner of Ariel. His terms were that Rothstein provide a product safe, worthy and capable of public marketing and he would be recognised as the chief executive of his establishment and would be offered a position on the Ariel Enterprises board of directors. Rothstein accepted and immediately invested in a large property on Planet Nuremberg in 810 in an attempt to anchor his idea onto sturdy foundations. Work began almost immediately on blueprints Rothstein had said to have drawn up during his time in incarceration. Ariel engineering was simply a promise made by Vlad Rothstein and almost forgotten by Ernst Jaeger until 815 when Rothstein finally emerged with the Ae-01 Typhoon HCn [2]. An ingenious hovercycle prototype unlike sirius has ever seen. Rothstein had completely re-defined what it was to own a hovercycle, and had done it cleanly, safely and efficiently. The model was soon put into production and sales soared. The original trial batch of 300 units was sold within two months and an additional 2,500 were manufactured to meet the demand. Five years, countless blueprints, over $18,500,000 credits raked in almost $300 million for Ariel. Rothstein was welcomed back as an equal and his subcompany made legitimatley semi-autonomous by the board.
Spirit, Passion, Joy
Vlad pushed forward with his project despite being bumped up to 1st class with the bigwigs on the board. Vlad was passionate about what he had created, and the residual belief after all those years that boundaries can still be broken still remained. However he recruited few minds to the company. This wasn't so much as a groundbreaker for Rothstein but a persuit of happiness; and so the company's slogan was made.
Ariel engineering's minds soon found themselves not only making new angles with hovercycles, but also being utilised by Ariel Enterprises for a number of aeropulsion projects. A.e. has since found itself widely involved in ventures into vessel modifications and accessories as well as engine designs and nuclear power generation.
