The Isis was an experimental Osiris class vessel, manufactured by the Order in 804 A.S. Derived from the original Osiris, it's main difference was the lack of Cloaking Devices. In compensation, a souped up prototype core was installed on the vessel.
The Isis was the last line of defense for The Order in Omicron Minor for close to fifteen years. In the Battle of Minor, The Isis held firm against The Core attack, but in the fighting, it's external shielding around the engines were lost, the ship was holding though.
When the Nomads attacked, The Isis, in a last ditch attempt to buy time for the retreating Order forces, activated it's drives for the first time in many years, and floated into the fray, demanding the maximum from it's reactor.
