Backstory
Tough not particularly fond of remembering, Jacob was born on Planet New London, under the wealth of a family of lawyers and money brookers. His mother died giving birth, victim to a airbourne disease, while the father, not present at the moment, worked under the guidance of the government. Jacob grew up on a life of mistreat and forgive and forgets, since his father was always neck-deep into work. Few know that is for this reason Jacob seems so taken into working alone - it's a costume, not lack of trust.
During his teenage years, he was forced into college, eliminating whatever time he had on his home. It was during those years Jacob got into a circle of friends engaged into protests pro-environment. He eventually left, however, forced to leave by the BPA, despite the bribes and political manouvers of his parents, after one of the teachers was found misteriously dead, staked to a plastic plant on her own room.
He kept engaged into protests, moving close to terrorism, however, until 812 A.S. when a confront with the same BPA forced him to flee. The vessel he used, however, was severely damaged and he was left floating space for two days, until the Nature Last Hope found his shuttle.
Nature Last Hope and Politicians
Quick to follow his saviours steps, by the end of that year Jacob was already a full member of NLH, participating on assaults against BMM transports and dealings with the Corsairs. The group, however, significantly weakened by BPA and BAF incursions, eventually fell forgotten. Fade flew solo for a while, until going completely under the radar.
Three years later he returned, this time to London. Under a new forged identity, courtesy of a few bribes proxied by the Junkers, Fade entered the politics alongside a man called Prof. Stephan Hartheim, working as an advisor and student. Secretly, however, the Gaian used the knowledge gained through the Prof. meetings to plan for a comeback on the future.
It was amidst 818 A.S., when the Gallic Royal Navy hit Bretonia, that Fade saw his chance. He took off from New London for good, seeking contact with whatever Gaians were left.
Underloch and Goals
Before disappearing with the arrival of the french, Jacob was seen back where he always wanted to be: Fighting alongside Gaians who shared his ideals. The war between Bretonia and Gallia had put the Gaians on a difficult position, however, one that ended up leading the Underloch to disarray. During his time, however, Jacob produced and dispersed propaganda through Bretonia, trying to strengthen morale. Although older and experienced, eventually he realized there was nothing else on the movement for him, taking of to the Omegas and disappearing completely.
Disappearance and Return
Jacob vanished from Bretonia for at least six years, after pooling resources and leaving a cryptic message to the remnants of the Underloch movement. Some state he had been seen talking to himself, stating he was hearing things no else could. "The Spirits", as he called them, seemed to wish him far away from home.
During these years, Fade lived alone on one ship he heavily modified. Baptizing it as Chun'Infernalis, in homage to both a Biologist an ancient Earthen creature, was a statement that he could very well survive away from civilization. The events that transpired in this self imposed exile are sketchy at best, but he was seen making occasional deals with The Corsairs and The Commonwealth - before the planetform of Guadalajara started.
Oddly, he was recently seen back on Bretonia, speaking to astral bodies and creatures, acting almost ethereal, spiritualistic. While some reported his acts as merely a samaritan engineer, other's recalled with extreme terror the events that precursed the destruction of their vessels.
