Kamisu Base is a small outpost the Farmers Alliance recently established in the Hiryo Cloud. As Synth Foods shipments from Rheinland grew more numerous then those coming through Liberty, the Farmers Alliance found they lacked the range to effectively deal with ships coming up through the Sigmas. Samura covertly transferred a prefabricated small depot to the Alliance in small pieces, that were slowly assembled in orbit of the planetoid. The station became operational in 818 A.S., and Farmers Alliance activity in the Honshu and Sigma-13 system rose dramatically a short while afterward.
