The lone moon of Planet Saigon, Kauthara is of little economic value. What it lacks in resources however, it makes up for tenfold in strategic and ecological necessity. Tidally locked with Saigon, it prevents roughly fifty percent of the planet from being subjected to constant impacts from the Annamese field, which would otherwise pose an enormous problem for any eventual settlement.
