A somewhat temperate Planet with arid, yet potentially arable landmasses that with not too large of an effort could rival many worlds of Kusari and Rheinland, Planet Saigon is expected to become a major point of contention in the newly discovered system, with Kusari laying a preliminary claim to it by proximity and Rheinland by desperation of the Munich disaster.

Ownership has been the first notable issue in many years to sour relations between the two houses, however their domestic problems have thus far thwarted any attempts by either to lay claim to Saigon, which for now remains a no man's land. Both seek to maintain a strict prohibition of landing and settlement on the world by each other and third parties for now, preventing wayward entities such as the Zoners or Core from moving in. Additionally, the Gas Miners Guild and Samura have also expressed great interest in utilizing the planet for themselves, and it has become yet another fulcrum of their conflict for domination of the Crow Nebula.
