Takashima Depot was constructed by the Blood Dragons to serve as a central command center for the operations within Nagano in space and on the surface of Planet Tomioka, which the Blood Dragons have been trying to gain control of. The Battleship Kokura originally served a similar purpose, however with the Kusari Navy attempting to gain a foothold in Tottori, and subsequently Nagano by laying infrastructure connecting the systems to Kyushu, the Blood Dragon Battleship was sent to meet this threat.
