History

Born on July 8th, 790 A.S., at the Regional Military Hospital on Planet New London, just outside of the capital city. Evelyn Goodman gives birth to two fraternal twins a boy - Austin, and a girl - Lena. When Evelyn was finally released from the hospital, she and her children returned to the Goodman Ranch back on Planet Cambridge, a century old homestead that has been handed down since the first colonists.

In 791 A.S. the family owned business, Cambridge Postal, was bought out by Gateway Interstellar. The family earned the entire business net worth of eight million credits. Most of which goes into modernizing the ranch. The following year of 792, Austin speaks his first word, ironically Kusari

At the age of five, Austin begins schooling. Having already taken a huge interest in the stars and what could be considered basic engineering. His parents slowly stop buying him and his sister toys as he would take them apart and reassemble them - with marginal success. Around this time, he had started taking a liking to a noble girl who was attending the same preschool as he was. Young love at it's finest.

During what was to be known as the 'Nomad Wars', Austin's father was called into service against the invading Rheinland Fleet. James Goodman was deployed to the Battleship Suffolk in New London to counter and Rheinlandic aggression within Bretonian space. Within a year, the Kingdom had managed to push the invading Rheinland force back to Rheinland space, the Armed Forces was eventually tasked with ensuring the formation of a new, and stable, Rheinland Government. James Goodman retired from military service as soon as the war changed for Bretonia's favor.

The following year, Austin and his sister were taken off world the second time for a business trip to Kusari, years prior to the conflict that would cause the eventual Kusari-Bretonian war. During a stay on Honshu, Austin had mysteriously disappeared... although he had actually wandered off on his own to explore the new culture that was around him, finding it awe-inspiring. Austin was found two days later by the Kusari State Police, ultimately unharmed. When stopping in Tau-31 for supplies, Austin's father had ordered the young man into a child sized space suit, and as punishment, made Austin go on his first space walk.

A cycle of events would soon be set in motion during Austin's early years, beginning at the age of thirteen. Having re-met Amanda Purdon from his preschool days, Austin overheard conversation within her selected group of friends that she had a crush on him. Although, this would tragically end in the following year as Austin witnesses her death first hand, and on the vary day his parents were killed in Tau-31 by Gaian terrorists. For half of a year, Austin's grades slipped ultimately succumbing to the loss of his parents, though the memories begin fading away as he strives to increase his grades.

In 807 A.S., Austin enrolls in multiple colleges and academies around Cambridge. Although the one he focused the most on getting into was the famous Cambridge Military Academy. It was a time honored tradition within his family to serve in the Armed Forces, and he wanted to follow in his fathers and fore-fathers foot steps. Taking up the arms to serve Queen and country.
