History

The first Heraklion

The original Heraklion was a Praefect class cruiser, commissioned in 797 A.S. under command of commander D.Cortez. The in 801 A.S. the cruiser was deployed to Omega-5 in order to intercept and destroy a Red Hessian fleet, the mission succeeded and as they where searching for survivors they only found 1, a 1 year old Hessian girl. Commander Cortez decided to adopt her, Eva Cortez still serves aboard the Heraklion.

In 814 A.S. a young pilot named Adam was found in space, he has been serving the Corsairs ever since.

On September 6 817 A.S. the Heraklion was attacked by nomads, they managed to escape but the ship was severely damaged and the commander died, Adam was promoted to the new commander and Eva serves as his Lieutenant.

On December 19 817 A.S. the Heraklion was deployed to a battle in Omega-41 after receiving some major blows 2 engines malfunctioned, after commander Adam was ordered to bring the ship back to Tripoli Shipyard, they made it safely back to Omicron Gamma. The ship starts turning towards the shipyard, as they where facing the sun the cruiser increased speed and stopped turning due of a coolant leak. The Heraklion was evacuated shortly before it entered the sun corona.

The new Heraklion

On January 1 818 A.S. a Legate class dreadnought was commissioned under the name Heraklion, it's mainly being used in order to defend Omicron Gamma and rarely leaves the system.
