Asteroid Fields

Palma Dust Field

Palma is a huge field of rock dust that fills the whole Omicron Lambda system, except for a small area around the Lambda sun and several other locations. Palma asteroids are mostly small, with several pockets of much larger asteroids existing within its confines. Those pockets are named Calvia, Inca, Petra, Mao, and Campos.

Calvia Asteroid Pocket

The Calvia Asteroid Pocket is a dense cluster of rock fragments that orbits Omicron Lambda's main star. The asteroids could be slowly coalescing into a planetary body as they collide and attract additional mass from the dust field throughout Omicron Lambda. The asteroids present a moderate hazard to capital ships navigating the system.

Inca Asteroid Pocket

The Inca Asteroid Pocket is a dense cluster of rock fragments that orbits Omicron Lambda's main star. The asteroids could be slowly coalescing into a planetary body as they collide and attract additional mass from the dust field throughout Omicron Lambda. The asteroids present a moderate hazard to capital ships navigating the system.

Petra Asteroid Pocket

The Petra Asteroid Pocket is a dense cluster of rock fragments that orbits Omicron Lambda's main star. The asteroids could be slowly coalescing into a planetary body as they collide and attract additional mass from the dust field throughout Omicron Lambda. The asteroids present a moderate hazard to capital ships navigating the system.

Mao Asteroid Pocket

The Mao Asteroid Pocket is a dense cluster of rock fragments that orbits Omicron Lambda's main star. The asteroids could be slowly coalescing into a planetary body as they collide and attract additional mass from the dust field throughout Omicron Lambda. The asteroids present a moderate hazard to capital ships navigating the system.

Campos Asteroid Pocket

The Campos Asteroid Pocket is a dense cluster of rock fragments that orbits Omicron Lambda's main star. The asteroids could be slowly coalescing into a planetary body as they collide and attract additional mass from the dust field throughout Omicron Lambda. The asteroids present a moderate hazard to capital ships navigating the system.
