Template:TOC Faction Infobox The Libertonian Party for Freedom and Equality (LPFE) is a progressive socialist formed by Hell FM DJ Tharog Frosthearth as an alternative to all the violent revolutionaries in Liberty. The Party wishes to bring changes using primarily peaceful means. They took the Rheinlandish Bundschuh Party as an example and the two are closely related.
Description
The LPFE rejects the violent ways of the Hellfire Legion and the Liberty Revolutionary Front, but does not see them as enemies as their goals are similar. Those goals being overthrowing the government and reorganizing the democratic system to properly function which they believe it does not at the moment. This is for a large part due to the Liberty Navy and the Liberty Security Force as well as in some ways the LPI.
The Liberty Navy has too much power and acts too aggressive according to the Party. The High Command of the Navy should be completely replaced by a new one, to be appointed by the government. The Navy should first however be completed checked and make sure that all ties between government officials and High Command members are cut. The privileges of the Navy would then be greatly reduced and a new department should be formed to keep an eye on the Navy.
LSF
The Liberty Security Force should be simply disbanded as their activities are almost all despicable. Hidden prisons should be closed and classified research projects should be canceled or be made completely transparent.
LPI
Finally, the LPFE wants the LPI to became state-owned. They find the idea of a private police force ridiculous as the goal of the police should be enforcing the law and not making money. The corruption within the LPI is massive they say and justice is a rare thing in Liberty.
Legal Status
Whether the party will be allowed to participate in elections is still a big question. The party leader Tharog Frosthearth was declared rogue more than half a year ago by the LSF and while on the run he had joined the Hellfire Legion where he became a high ranked member until he left due to the high amount of violence and continued to form the LPFE. Due to this he is a most wanted criminal and chances are high the party will not be allowed to participate in elections as long as he is at the party leader.
What the party will do when the are indeed excluded from elections is not yet known. It is speculated that they might use the ways of the Volksfront which means fighting, yet with minimal violence. Others say that they will simply write down another name as official party leader, but keep Frosthearth behind the scenes. All of these are mere theories however as the LPFE has not officially responded on the matter yet.
Membership
Because they are just a political party and not an armed rebel movement, a member of the LPFE can be affiliated with other organisations at the same time. Being a member of the party is in no way a job. Although the party may be granted guns or ships they have no real fleet, but some members just have ships of their own which they use to promote the party and when equipment is granted the individual names of those ships should be provided to the leadership of the party to deal with bureaucratic part of getting the equipment.
Bundschuh
The Bundschuh can be seen as the parent organisation of the LPFE. Thus making the LPFE basically the Libertonian Bundschuh. The two work together closely and the Volksfront, the Bundschuh's Armed Forces, have even provided the LPFE with Luger guns.
