Omega-58 System

Omega-58 was the stronghold of Das Wilde and the system to which they fled after being defeated in the Omicrons. Explorers who ventured into this system almost always forfeit their lives to its guardians, and only the strongest leave to tell the tale- but they do not leave unchanged. The system was notable for the Nomad Jump Gate being constructed in it. This gate was being powered by an ancient power cell, and was generating effects similar to a black hole whenever ion storms passed through it. The planets and debris in the system were pulled from nearby systems by this device, and provided the Wild with a surplus of resources with which to build an armada of Scorpion gunboat drones and other ships.

Nebulae

Sterngrabe Nebula A vast area of heavily irradiated debris, asteroids, planetary fragments and dark matter. It is all that remains of the Omega-58 system after a massive, Wilde induced cataclysm destroyed the system. Drained of nearly all it's energy, the remains of its now dead star still linger in the center of the system.
